Macau authorities will allow the construction of new casinos?

The news feed of the capital of the gambling business of the Asian continent was replenished with an unexpected message - representatives of the Macau authorities are ready to proceed to the stage of considering a bill that opens access to the construction of new casinos on lands previously subjected to land reclamation measures.

It should be recalled that the format of new gambling objects requires the availability of free land plots. This is the main problem that does not allow to wait in a calm channel for the start of the project, because if the promised bill is not approved, no one will allow the construction of a casino on reclaimed land. The necessary legislative and regulatory framework was submitted to the authorized bodies just a couple of days ago and, according to the assurances of experts, the decision will be made in favor of the owners of future casinos.

The bill should appear on the agenda of the standing committee in the coming days. After consideration of the accompanying documentation, the final version of the bill will be submitted for voting at the next plenary meeting.

On the other hand, experts express concern that an affirmative solution to this issue will lead to significant difficulties in the activities of companies planning to occupy a part of the Macau gambling market. At the same time, this project is able to present a lot of new opportunities for fans of gambling entertainment.
