Turkey plans to open a casino for Chinese tourists

According to Timur Bayindyr, the head of TÜROB (an association of investors and hoteliers), a casino in Turkey will be able to increase the country's tourism potential, especially for tourists from China. Official statistics count 300 million tourists from China who annually visit different countries of the world and only one million of them prefer Turkey for recreation.

The idea of creating gambling establishments in Turkey is backed by the love of the Chinese for entertainment from the casino sphere, their purchasing power in this regard is very high.

Another reason why Turkey does not attract Chinese tourists is the high cost of flights. For comparison: to fly from China to Spain costs about 327 euros, and to Turkey - five times more. Turkish airlines do not want to reduce the cost of the flight, therefore, together with the casino, Timur Bayindyrov will offer the government a program to attract new air carriers.

The head of TÜROB considers Yassida Island an ideal place to build a new establishment. Timur plans to propose to the government a project to open a large casino in which only foreign guests can play. Thus, it is possible to significantly increase the influx of Chinese tourists, who previously preferred Romania, Georgia or Bulgaria for recreation, where gambling business is flourishing.
