An open letter from the employees of Azov-City was sent to Vladimir Putin - the employees of the gambling zone are asking to keep the casino. The likelihood of a positive reaction from the president increases during the pre-election period. Over a thousand people expressed their hope.
The signatories appeal to the president, stating that the closure of the casino will deprive employees of their earnings. Yeisk, Shcherbinovsky districts are depressed, they explain. The employees were supported by relatives.
Today's Azov City, they explain, has become a full-fledged resort, supplemented by a gambling zone. There are restaurants, a network of modern hotels, the famous SPA. The eight-year operation of the complex brought the country over RUB 1.5 billion in duties. The support of the Russian budget by deductions from Azov City is three times higher than the return of other zones. The president's decisions are awaited by investors who are ready to invest further with a positive verdict from the authorities, the authors write.
The regional authorities, subordinate to the decision of the center, emphasize the authors, in fact support the casino. Officials of the region, municipalities of Yeysk, Shcherbinovsky districts gave positive signals to the public. Letters from the regional authorities substantiating the expediency of preserving the Azov City were also received by the federal center. People are sure that parliamentarians will promptly correct Federal Law No. 244, which regulates the Russian gambling market, the authors emphasize.
