Resorts World Casino to Open a Vending Machine Lounge in Newburgh Mall

Resorts World Casino plans to host slot machines in the Newburgh mall. The location is convenient for players moving in search of entertainment along the intersecting highways here near the state borders.

The history of this plan is long-standing. As far back as 2019, RW allowed the installation of machines "in principle". Management began looking for a site and drew attention to the Thruway interchange. Later, the management found a better option - a commercial building 20 minutes drive north.

The project is being marketed by Resorts World as a long-term investment that embraces the influence of residents in the Hudson and Catskills valleys. The idea of the new casino will be implemented by Genting, a subsidiary of Resorts World. The casino staff will bring hundreds of high-paying jobs, softening the union stance. Officials already intend to support local schools with taxes from the gambling establishment. Additional financial stability will not hurt the Resort itself.

While the designers are developing a conceptual vision of the facility, management is thinking about the number of cars that will fit on the adjacent site. For example, Monticello Raceway had up to 1,100 cars. True, then another casino opened nearby, and the parking lot began to empty.
